Three things to know about OSU vs. Florida

OSU super-senior Bryce Williams’ status is unknown due to an ankle injury that forced him to miss the past two games. The game is a bit of a homecoming for Williams, though. Williams went to South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Florida, which is 73 miles from Gainesville. Williams also played for Florida assistant Erik Pastrana at Daytona State College before transferring to Ole Miss and then OSU, where he reunited with Pastrana last season.

OSU is 6-2 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, including three straight victories. But the Cowboys are winless in three matchups with the Gators. As for the challenge, the Big 12 is 44-35 overall. In the previous eight seasons, the Big 12 has won the challenge four times and tied twice.

Florida is playing its third game this week following losses to Ole Miss and Tennessee. The Gators were short-handed Wednesday at Tennessee without forwards Colin Castleton and CJ Felder. Jason Jitoboh also left the game with an eye injury.
