Three-star edge rusher Teitum Tuioti from Sheldon HS commits to Oregon

More fallout continues from Eugene as another person is set to leave the Ducks' program.

Offensive lineman Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu will play in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29, but he will then declare for the 2022 NFL draft.

Aumavae-Laulu isn't likely to be selected in the first two days of the NFL draft, but he's not the only Duck leaving early. Earlier this week, star defensive end/linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux declared for the draft, where he is expected to be a top-five pick.

Last Saturday, after Oregon's 38-10 loss to Utah in the Pac-12 championship, Oregon offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead accepted a head coaching job at Akron. Then Monday morning, Mario Cristobal left to coach the Miami Hurricanes.

"Being able to depart with a degree in my hand is a lifelong accomplishment," Aumavae-Laulu said on Twitter. "Mr. Rob Mullens and Mr. Michael Schill, thank you for your efforts in establishing an elite football program and university."

"Duck nation, your fan base is nothing short of amazing. I'm proud to have played in one of the greatest stadiums with the best fans.

"With that being said, the Alamo Bowl game will be the last time I will be declaring for the 2022 NFL draft following the 2021 Alamo Bowl game."
