Oregon’s win streak against UCLA ended Sunday afternoon as a late shooting slump doomed the Ducks.

Oregon made just three field goals in the final 10 minutes, allowing the No. 21 Bruins to turn a close game into a 65-56 Pac-12 men’s basketball victory in Los Angeles.

The Ducks (4-5, 1-1 Pac-12) had won four straight against the Bruins (7-2, 2-0), including an 84-81 overtime win against No. 3 UCLA at Pauley Pavilion last season that gave Oregon coach Dana Altman his 700th career victory.

This time around, the Ducks’ 56 points equaled their season low despite shooting 49% from the field (24-for-49).

Forward Quincy Guerrier led Oregon with 15 points and point guard Will Richardson scored 13 and had five assists, but no one could snap the Ducks out of their struggles in the second half.

Trailing 44-38, the Ducks scored nine straight to regain the lead, with N’Faly Dante scoring on a layup to cap the run and give the team a 47-44 advantage with 10:05 to play.

But Oregon went 3-for-10 from the field the rest of the game, including a stretch where it missed seven straight shots.

The Bruins didn’t have the same struggles, as they made seven of their 14 shots in the final 8:36, including a jumper by Tyger Campbell with 7:46 to play to give them a 51-49 advantage and a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Jaylen Clark and Amari Bailey each scored 14 to lead UCLA, which trailed 27-21 at halftime after scoring a season low in first-half points.
