One Dead and 'Around a Dozen' Missing After Explosion in UK's Jersey
One person was killed and “around a dozen” were missing after an explosion destroyed an apartment block on Jersey, one of the UK’s Channel Islands, in early hours of Saturday morning, December 10, police said.
Video and images posted by Daniel Hunt showed a large plume of smoke rising close to the port in St. Helier, Jersey’s capital.
Two “walking wounded” were treated at the hospital, Chief of Jersey Police, Robin Smith, told a press conference.
