Ole Miss star Quinson Judkins wins C Spire Conerly Trophy

Nov. 30—Ole Miss freshman running back has won the C Spire Conerly Trophy, given annually to the best college football player in Mississippi. He is the third-straight Rebel to win the award, following Matt Corral and Elijah Moore in 2021 and 2020, respectively.

Judkins beat out fellow finalists Emmanuel Forbes, a defensive back from Mississippi State, and Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Judkins finished as the regular-season SEC leader in rushing, totaling 1,476 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, both Ole Miss single-season records. The Rebels rank third nationally in rushing at 261.6 yards per game.

Broeker wins Kent Hull

Senior offensive lineman Nick Broeker Kent Hull Trophy, given to the best college offensive lineman in Mississippi. The Illinois native moved from tackle to guard this season and has thrived, helping pave the way for the a Rebels offense that was seventh nationally at 491.2 total yards per game. Broeker has started 35 games in a row for the Rebels.
