Oklahoma State women’s basketball vs. Loyola Marymount: How to watch, radio, what to know

STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State women’s basketball team kicked off December with an 18-point victory over North Texas and will try to keep the momentum going with a Tuesday morning contest.

The Cowgirls host Loyola Marymount at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Three things to know

• OSU defeated North Texas 82-64 behind a 23-rebound performance from junior Taylen Collins, which tied the program record held by Natasha Mack, who accomplished it in December 2019. Collins was 6 of 7 from the floor to add 12 points, posting her third double-double of the season. She is now averaging 8.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

• Junior forward Lior Garzon came off the bench to score a team-high 21 points against North Texas. She was 5 of 10 from 3-point range, the third time this season she has made at least four 3s in a game.

• The Cowgirls continue to get balanced scoring, with first-year coach Jacie Hoyt relying on a guard-heavy offense. Six players are averaging at least 8.9 points per game, led by super-senior point guard Naomie Alnatas at 15.3. For the season, OSU is shooting 44.2% from the floor and 36.4% from 3-point range.
