Ohio State’s first varsity four finished third in its semifinal race Saturday to advance to the grand finals Sunday in the NCAA rowing championships in Sarasota, Florida. The first and second varsity eight boats moved on to the petite finals.
Grand final races are for spots 1-6 nationally while the boats in the petite finals will battle for sports 7-12.
The Buckeyes will race for the 1V4 championship at 9:34 a.m. Sunday against Stanford, Princeton, Washington, Texas and Brown.
