Ohio State basketball up at halftime in a nip and tuck affair at Minnesota

It’s been a tight game as expected up in Minneapolis as Ohio State takes on Minnesota on the road. There have been several lead changes with both teams experiencing mini runs. The Buckeyes used a min spurt at the end of the half to take the lead into the locker room 32-30.

E.J. Liddell is having a good game again, closing in on a double-double with eight points and eight rebounds, but guard Malakai Branham actually leads OSU in points with eleven heading into the break.

The difference in the game has been owning the boards for Ohio State. The Buckeyes hauled down 24 rebounds to Minnesota’s 14. Eleven of those came on the offensive end for OSU.

For Minnesota, Payton Willis led the way with eight points.

You can bet this will be a tight affair the rest of the way. Ohio State will likely need to shoot the ball better than the nearly 41 percent it did in the first half to notch this one in the win column.
