Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. brought up Tom Brady's latest controversy in his media availability ahead of Sunday's matchup between the two teams — but he meant it as a compliment.

"Tom Brady's the GOAT," Beckham said to reporters. "I know we've done some GOAT cloning. I think there's something going on. He's not human to be playing the way he's still playing."

The "cloning" part of his statement is seemingly in reference to Brady's recent appearance in the Netflix show "Living With Yourself" that made headlines for all the wrong reasons. In the cameo, Brady is seen walking out of a strip mall day spa, called the "Top Happy Spa," that is a cover for a cloning operation. In one of his two spoken lines, Brady explains that it was his sixth visit to the spa — a callout to his six Super Bowl victories.

The scene, however, was initially thought by many to be a jab at Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who was charged for allegedly soliciting a prostitute at the Orchids of Asia day spa in Florida earlier this year. When asked, an agitated Brady said that the cameo "was taken out of context" and had nothing to do with Kraft.

Beckham's reference to the show on Thursday was clearly in good fun, as he went on to heap praise on the Patriots quarterback.

"He's very smart," Beckham said of Brady. "He's the best to ever do it. He's just the greatest. I definitely want some of the water that he's drinking."

Beckham's Browns travel to take on Brady and the Patriots this Sunday. Cleveland is 2-4 on the season after losing two straight, while New England remains undefeated.
