Nueces County COVID-19 tracker: Here's case, death and hospital data for January

As the number of coronavirus cases in Nueces County develops, here are the latest updates and information.

The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District does not break down the daily COVID-19 statistics by vaccination status because hospitals cannot always report that data promptly and because contact tracing of confirmed cases takes time, public health director Annette Rodriguez told the Caller-Times.
