North London Roads Submerged by Sudden Flooding

Cars plowed through tire-high water on Tollington Road in north London after the area was suddenly flooded on Monday, August 8.

Footage posted from the account of the Tollington pub shows flooding on the intersection of Tollington Road and Hornsey Road on Monday morning.

Thames Water said on its website that engineers were investigating reports of a burst water main causing low or no water pressure in a series of north London postcodes.

London Fire Brigade said on Twitter that eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were dealing with the flooding on Hornsey Road. Credit: The Tollington via Storyful
