Norman community leaders to discuss city growth plans

NORMAN — The Norman Economic Development Coalition will host its quarterly Economic Development Luncheon on May 25.

The event is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center, 2501 Conference Drive. The luncheon is open to the public and all interested stakeholders.

During the event, the coalition's leaders will provide an update on Norman’s new economic development strategic plan, and national business leader Quint Studer will share with attendees his experience building communities.

The Norman Economic Development Coalition's quarterly events bring together business and community leaders who are driving the regional economy through job creation and social impact, a news release stated

Registration and networking will begin at 10 a.m. the day of the event with Mayor-Elect Larry Heikkila, as well as Miss Oklahoma and Miss Georgia who are both promoting their platforms of reading comprehension and workforce development.
