Nordstrom Rack is moving into this North Texas shopping center in summer 2023
Nordstrom Rack, the off-price division of the luxury department store, will open a new location in Denton.
This will be the seventh Nordstrom Rack in North Texas, selling designer apparel for men, women and children, shoes and accessories, home goods and beauty products at discounts up to 70%.
The 25,323-square-foot store will be in Denton Crossing shopping center along South Loop 288, in a space formerly occupied by Mardel Christian & Education, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Other anchor stores in the complex include TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Michaels, Total Wine & More and Best Buy. A Kroger is across the street.
The $2 million construction project to renovate the space for Nordstrom Rack begins April 1 and should finish by mid-August.
Other Nordstrom Racks in the Metroplex are in Arlington, Dallas, Southlake, Frisco and Plano. There are three Nordstroms — two in Dallas, and one in Frisco.
