Ohio State's last bowl appearance was the Rose Bowl against Utah

Ohio State finished off its 2021 season in the Rose Bowl against Utah.

After losses to Oregon and Michigan to keep them out of the College Football Playoff, the Buckeyes rallied back from a 35-21 halftime by outscoring the Utes 27-10 in the second half.

The Buckeyes used six touchdowns and 573 passing yards by quarterback C.J. Stroud to earn the program's ninth Rose Bowl win, while wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba set an FBS bowl game record with 347 receiving yards on a school-record 15 receptions with three touchdowns. Marvin Harrison Jr. also added three touchdown receptions for an offense that set a Rose Bowl and school record with 683 total yards.
