No. 2 Purdue basketball vs. Iowa: TV, radio, preview coverage

The Purdue Boilermakers have a compelling reason to remain undefeated in their Big Ten opener against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

A win would almost certainly vault Purdue (7-0) to No. 1 in national college basketball rankings. The No. 2 Boilers throttled Florida State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday, while Ohio State rallied late to beat top-ranked Duke.

Purdue players averaging in double figures: Zach Edey (16.9, with 7.1 rebounds), Jaden Ivey (15.4, with 43.3% 3-point shooting), Sasha Stefanovic (12.9, 3 3-pointers per game), Trevion Williams (12.3, 7.4 rebounds).

Iowa (7-0) is one of two other undefeated Big Ten teams heading into this matchup (Minnesota is the third), following an ACC/Big Ten Challenge win over Virginia. Keegan Murray leads the Hawkeyes in scoring (24.6) and rebounding (8.9). Jordan Bohannan adds 11.4 points and 3 3-pointers per game (44.7% accuracy).

The teams met once in the 2020-21 season, with host Iowa winning 70-55.
