- Well, a lot has changed since our last mock draft. The first wave of free agency has come and gone, two first-round picks have been traded, and the draft landscape has changed completely. So we've got some catching up to do.

And we start at number 2, an interesting choice here with Tua Taovailoa going to the Washington Redskins. Yes, I can see a trade here, possibly, then moving down for somebody who wants to come up for Tua. But I also think Ron Rivera is quietly fascinated by Tua and could possibly convince Dan Snyder. This is the route they need to go. Is he healthy? Is he not? We don't know. But don't rule out the possibility of Tua at 2 to the Redskins.

Now, Jordan Love is kind of a mystery man. The Utah State quarterback has been one of these players who's been a little bit hard to fit in mock drafts. I have him going with the Jaguars' second first-round pick at number 20 overall. I admit, that may not be his eventual landing spot. But I think somewhere in that range of the mid-first round is where Love is going to fall. Possibly to a team trading up, so he's a bit of a wildcard in this draft projection.

Another development-- we mentioned those two first-round picks. Now the Vikings and 49ers both with a pair of first-rounders. Vikings need a wide receiver. Could see them taking one with either their first-round picks. We have them going with Baylor's Denzel Mims. I think that would be a nice fit in that system.

And yes, the 49ers traded DeForest Buckner. But they also need a wide receiver. And I wouldn't be shocked if somebody like Jerry Jeudy from Alabama really intrigues them at number 13. He's kind of a Stefon Diggs type of receiver, maybe a little bit of Odell Beckham, a poor man's version without the headaches. So I could see him being a good fit for the 49ers.
