The Brooklyn Nets (29-19, fourth in the Eastern Conference) welcome the New York Knicks (27-23, seventh) to the Barclays Center on Saturday to face off against each other for the second time this season. Brooklyn currently leads the regular-season series 1-0.

In the first game between these two teams, a Nets 112-85 win on Nov. 9, Nets superstar Kevin Durant had a triple-double of 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists while becoming the first player since Michael Jordan to score at least 25 points in his team’s first 12 games. This was also Jacque Vaughn’s first game as the official head coach after being the interim head coach following Steve Nash’s firing on Nov. 1.

Brooklyn comes into this game having won only two of its past eight games as they have struggled to play winning basketball on a consistent basis since Kevin Durant sprained his right MCL against the Miami Heat on Jan. 8. The Knicks come into this game having won two of its last six games, but their two most recent games have been impressive win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics.
