NBA Twitter reacts to Joel Embiid, Sixers falling to Celtics on the road

The Philadelphia 76ers took a bad loss on Wednesday night as they fell to a Boston Celtics team entering the contest missing three starters and then losing a fourth starter to a facial fracture. This was supposed to be a game where the Sixers would bounce back following a disappointing effort in New York.

The Sixers held Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to a combined 16 points, but the Celtics received double-digit scoring from six players. Malcolm Brogdon had 19 points off the bench while Derrick White had 19 and Blake Griffin added 15 points on five triples. Boston hit 19 triples on the night.

Joel Embiid had 28 points and seven rebounds while James Harden had 26 points and 11 assists, but it was not a good effort overall. The Celtics out-rebounded the Sixers by seven on the night and the bench unit struggled again and Tobias Harris missed all four of his triples.
