New York Knicks guard Reggie Bullock’s sister was shot and killed on Monday in Baltimore, according to the Associated Press, marking the second time he’s lost a sister in five years.

Bullock’s sister, Keiosha Moore, was reportedly brought to a hospital on Monday night with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest. Moore died at the hospital. She was 22.

Nine people were shot in Baltimore on Monday, according to the Associated Press, and Moore was one of three to die from their injuries. The investigation is still ongoing.

“I have never felt so BROKEN in my life!” Bullock wrote in part on Instagram Wednesday night. “My two queens, my two that go super HARD FOR ME! S--- won’t ever be the same, I wish I could’ve talked [one] last time that day. I failed as a brother to protect you from the harm of these streets … I can’t believe this [happened].”

His other sister, Mia, was stabbed to death in an alley in 2014. Her murder remains unsolved. Mia, who was transgender, was 26. Her death, however, has since inspired Bullock to become an activist in the LGBTQ+ community.

Bullock — who signed a two-year deal with the Knicks this offseason — is still recovering from back surgery he underwent in July, and has yet to make his debut with the Knicks this fall. The 28-year-old averaged 11.3 points and 2.7 rebounds last year with both the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers, which marked his seventh season in the league.
