NBA fines Pistons G Derrick Rose $25K for throwing a pen
The NBA announced on Tuesday that it has fined Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose $25,000 for throwing a pen during Monday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Rose threw a pen across the court and into the stands with 37 seconds remaining in overtime after it became clear that the Pistons would lose the game. Officials did not call a technical foul.
Rose finished with 23 points and eight assists in 37 minutes off the bench in the 117-110 loss.
