Native Americans are running Las Vegas's only cannabis lounge

The Tudinu, or “desert people,” from whom the Las Vegas Paiute descend, have lived in southern Nevada for more than 1,000 years. In 2017, they opened the NuWu Cannabis Marketplace, and in October, NuWu opened Nevada’s first cannabis tasting room. Sovereignty exempts the tribe from a law restricting marijuana consumption to private homes.
