Nashville severe weather: Damaging winds biggest threat, isolated tornadoes possible
Nashville and Middle Tennessee will be under a wind advisory as potentially severe storms roll through the area overnight.
The National Weather Service said the advisory will go into effect about midnight and remain in place through noon Thursday.
Damaging wind gusts will be the most significant threat with the marginal risk for severe weather, NWS said. Though a tornado cannot be ruled out and heavy downpours could lead to localized flooding.
