Napavine just continues to roll. The Tigers got out ahead early again, and never looked back in a 61-21 win over Raymond-South Bend Friday night.
"We're doing what we're supposed to do," Tigers coach Josh Fay said. "Our depth has really improved, we're playing a lot of guys who will need to play later, and they're playing really well."
The Tigers (7-0, 4-0 league) got two touchdowns a piece from Gavin Parker, Ashton Demarest, and Cael Stanley, and are still in the driver's seat to finish with the top seed in league play with a big matchup against undefeated Forks next Friday.
Napavine was able to unload its bench in the win, and as a result, several young players stepped up and scored, including backup quarterback Colin Shields.
The moment of the night, however, came in the fourth quarter. With decent field position, Ravens tailback Colby Branham took a handoff 50 yards to the house to the applause of both Napavine and RSB fans alike to cap off the scoring for the night.
The Tigers will do battle with Forks next Friday at home, looking to secure a good spot in crossover play come the end of the regular season.
