Madison Square Garden has one of the richest histories of any venues in boxing history. The iconic March 8, 1971, heavyweight title bout between unbeaten champions Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali is just one of the many legendary championship bouts that have taken place in the Garden.

MSG got 20 people from the boxing industry, including fighters who had a combined record of 57-3 in bouts there, to put together a tribute video to the front-line workers who are aiding in the coronavirus response.

The fighters involved are Hall of Famers Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins as well as Laila Ali, Mick Conlan, Gerry Cooney, Miguel Cotto, Gennadiy Golovkin, Heather Hardy, Jamel Herring, Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Lee, Teofimo Lopez, Mikaela Mayer, Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.

Promoters who appear are Lou DiBella, Todd duBoef, Eddie Hearn and Tom Loeffler. Ring announcer Michael Buffer, who called so many big fights at the Garden, kicks the video off.

It is a fitting tribute and also serves as a public service announcement for what to do to take care of yourself during the pandemic.
