Mourners Wait in Line to Pay Respects to Late Japanese PM

Mourners waited in line in Kudanzaka Park, Tokyo, on Tuesday, September 27, to pay their respects to the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was fatally shot at an election rally in July.

Footage recorded by @snideler shows people passing by a flower booth in Kudanzaka Park near Nippon Budokan, where the state funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon.

Local media reported that mourners could leave flowers in front of Abe’s portrait at designated booths.

The source of this video said they had waited in line for four hours. Credit: @snideler via Storyful
