Mount Union features work of regional artists

ALLIANCE – University of Mount Union is hosting a new exhibit, entitled “All That & More,” at the Sally Otto Gallery.

The exhibit features work by Eranah Adorjan and Michelle Droll.

Adorjan is a working visual artist and designer from Cleveland who earned her bachelor’s degree from Cleveland Institute of Art and a master of fine arts from Kent State University. Adorjan works with several mediums and her work spans from small collages to room installations to wearable and digital art.

Droll, born and raised in upstate New York, now lives in Akron. She received a bachelor of science from Utica College in New York; a bachelor of fine arts from Cleveland Institute of Art and a master of fine arts from Kent State University. Droll has exhibited her work in Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania.

The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will run through Feb. 23. An artists’ reception will be held in the same location from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 26. For more information, contact Mike Schmidt at schmidmi@mountunion.edu.

Jan. 13 – Music education major Lance Tomasko will present his senior recital at 7:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

Jan. 29 – A guest artist performance by Timothy Ledger, on piano, will be held at 3 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
