MotorTown All-Stars will bring 'A Motown Christmas' to two area locations this season

The MotorTown All-Stars makes two area appearances this season with “A Motown Christmas”:

• 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at The Lerner Theatre, 410 S. Main St., Elkhart; $66-$46; 574-293-4469 or thelerner.com

• 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Lake Michigan College’s Mendel Center, 2755 E. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor; $55-$25; 269-927-8700 or themendelcenter.com

“A Motown Christmas” celebrates the music of Motown and features a line-up of vocalists and musicians assembled from the ranks of The Contours, The Miracles and The Temptations.

In addition to Motown hits, the program includes holiday songs, including “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Silent Night” performed in Motown’s style.

Accompanying the Detroit-based vocal group will be a live band and brass section.
