Motorcycle rider killed in two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at an Ocala intersection
A man died Saturday afternoon after he was ejected from his motorcycle in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Ocala, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Witnesses told FHP troopers that two sport bikes were traveling west on Southeast 31st Street. One of the motorcycles went through the intersection, the report said.
The second motorcycle was going through the intersection in the inside lane when a Toyota Camry that was in the eastbound lane turned left onto Southeast 36th Avenue.

Authorities were told that the vehicles collided in the roadway.
The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike. Officials were told that the rider was wearing his helmet when it came off.
Troopers identified the deceased rider as a 25-year-old from Leesburg. The other motorcycle rider, a woman, was not injured, FHP officials said.
The Toyota driver, a 49-year-old man from Ocala, was not injured in the crash.
Law enforcement officials were told that there was a yellow light for both the car and the motorcycle that was hit. It's unknown if speed was a factor.
FHP troopers were dispatched to the call at 3:19 p.m. and arrived at the location of Southeast 31st Street and 36th Avenue at 3:24 p.m.
The intersection was the site of another fatality not long ago.
Last year, 71-year-old Linda Ann Parrinello was killed in a two-vehicle crash. Her husband was seriously injured.
The driver was ticketed for the wreck.
