Power restored for nearly all 700 Lane Electric members hit by Friday outage

Power was restored to almost all Lane Electric Cooperative members by 2 p.m. Friday after an outage left more than 700 members in the Cottage Grove in the dark earlier in the day.

Three substations went down Friday early morning, according to a Lane Electric statement. The cause still hasn't been determined, but crews patrolled lines and re-energized them throughout Friday morning, according to a statement.

Lane Electric members should call 541-484-1151 if they are still without power.
