Good morning, Taunton! Today is Sunday, Aug, 14, 2022. Let's take a look at today's top stories:

Sunday Reads

This week's Sunday Read is all about some animals in need of a good home.

The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has a little more than 100 goats ready for adoption that were taken into protective custody from a Dighton owner.

They've even got an emu named Jerry who is available for adoption.

The animals were taken in January, along with an adult mustang horse from the same owner.

Although the horse has already been placed, it's been just as long of a journey for the other animals, who are now ready for their new homes. Learn more about them here, as well as adoption information.
