In The Money: Center's professional endowment committee welcomes estate planners

Planned giving professionals from a variety of financial entities gathered for a working reception at the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adults.

The 27th annual Estate Planners Reception took place Sept. 21 and was sponsored by the center's Professional Endowment Committee.

The evening included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres — including Palm Beach Catering's signature Parmesan cheese puffs — and remarks by chairman David Bowers.

Bowers spoke about the different ways to assist RCCA through planned gifts. The organization helps uninsured or underinsured local families receive much-needed individualized and customized therapy services.

More than 40 local firms and financial institutions were represented at the event, which was also attended by members of the RCCA's board of governors.

Committee members include Bowers, Benjamin Sloan, Eileen B. Minnick, Brian J. Worgan, Thomas B. Pinckney, Stephanie L. Baudo, Patricia Godwin, Elizabeth C. Wagner, David H. Scaff, Janice K. Snyder, William E. Benjamin IV, Nathan Flah, Suzanne S. Weston, Victoria W. Peaper, Margaret Betten, Janet Shamblin, Steven F. Colamarino, J. Cater Randolph, Christopher Storkerson, Vince N. Tran, Peter Nicoletti, Heath Randolph, Shannon T. Howell and Michael Dixon.

RCCA is a comprehensive outpatient facility with a focus on helping Palm Beach County’s children and adults regain physical abilities through a variety of services including aquatic programs, Pilates exercises, preschool services, occupational and physical therapies as well as speech-language pathology treatment.

Over its 80-year history RCCA has helped more than 73,000 members of the community with variety of physical needs.
