"good 4 u" went bluegrass — with a little help from flatpickin' ace Molly Tuttle.

Tuttle, a 2023 Grammy Award nominee for Best New Artist, released this week a grass-cuttin' cover of chart-topping Olivia Rodrigo pop song "good 4 u." The tune debuted Monday via Spotify Singles as part of a series highlighting this year's Best New Artist candidates; Rodrigo won the award in 2022.

Backed by her band Golden Highway, Tuttle and company stay true to Rodrigo's powerhouse chorus — adding subtle bluegrass touches to the pop star's familiar words (and one lightning-fast guitar solo, of course).

As part of the Spotify Singles campaign, Tuttle also released a reimagined version of her 2022 song "Dooley's Farm."

Behind her 2022 album "Crooked Tree," the California-raised, Nashville-based singer competes for Best New Artist and Best Bluegrass Album at this weekend's Grammy Awards.
