Mohegan Sun hosts Restaurant Week

Jan. 19—Mohegan Sun has some tremendous restaurants, and if you were hoping to get a particularly good deal at one of the dining revues, well, this is your week.

The Sun hosts its Restaurant Week from Sunday through Jan. 27, and that's a cause for celebration for foodies.

There's a sushi pizza and a regular maki roll for $25 at Sushi Koya, or corned beef and cabbage egg rolls for $15 at Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House.

A lot of places are offering up three-course meal specials. At TAO, for instance, for $60 you can get a three-course meal whose main dish can be either miso-roasted black cod, orange chicken with white rice, lo mein, or Japanese Fried Chicken.

A three-course dinner is available at Todd English's Tuscany for $55, with its main courses being house penne with sausage and broccoli rabe; pan-roasted chicken with Tuscan chickpea and chicken jus; or a four-ounce filet with shrimp scampi, sauteed spinach, silk potato and demi-glace.
