Eliah Drinkwitz and Missouri football have the final piece of their re-assembled coaching staff for the 2022 season, according to reports.

ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel and Power Mizzou reported Thursday night that the Tigers are hiring Blake Baker as safeties coach.

Baker was the linebackers coach at LSU last season. He spent two years before that at the University of Miami as defensive coordinator, a position he’s also held at Louisiana Tech.

Baker fills the role of Charlie Harbison, who remains on staff but is stepping down from a position coaching role because of personal matters.

Drinkwitz has familiarity with Baker, as they both served on the same coaching staff at Arkansas State in 2013. Baker was in charge of safeties then and Drinkwitz was co-offensive coordinator while also overseeing running backs. Now they’re reunited at Mizzou.
