Minot State player scores incredible kickoff return TD after fumbling ball into own end zone
There’s no way Minot State’s Cory Carignan has ever scored a crazier touchdown than the one he did against Minnesota-Duluth on Thursday night.
UMD kicked off to Minot State in the first quarter of their Division II matchup after taking a 15-0 lead. Carignan dropped the kickoff and the ball rolled behind him into the end zone. It looked like a sure safety as Carignan was swarmed by Minnesota-Duluth players.
It was not. Somehow Carignan escaped. and this is what happened.
Here’s the full version with the commentary attached to it. Because you have to see this 104-yard return twice to believe that it actually happened. And make sure you appreciate the block at the end of the return. It was a decleater!

It’s easily the craziest play of the young 2019 college football season at any level. And heck, it could end up keeping that title at the end of the year. It’s absolutely wild. If there’s another play during Week 2 of the FBS season that ends up being better than this one it will have been a crazy week.
