What they're saying

Miller post Lonnie Adkism on the Bucs' strong second half: "We came out pumped up. We knew they were going to come out strong because we beat them last year in a tough fight. They lost some players, we lost some players, but we know they were still going to fight."

Miller coach Maurice Bastian on the Bucs' win against London: "We like to be all over the court, but we have to get more discipline. Sometimes we're a little wild, but I thought overall, everyone contributed."

London coach Ron Lawver on the Pirates' second half: "One of our kids got in foul trouble and he's one of my main ball-handlers. A team like Miller is pretty athletic and you have to get after it when you're limited on ball-handlers. They did a good job taking advantage of that."

London guard Pierson Cazales on the Pirates' second half: "I think coming out of the half in a tie game, they scored and it gave them a lot of momentum. I think they fought harder than us in the second half. With Preston fouling out, that's a big loss for us."
