Game notes: It's the final ACC/Big Ten Challenge for the Spartans, and they visit their closest ACC neighbors in Notre Dame. Mike Brey's team have won five of their first six games this season, led by Nate Laszewski's 18.2 points per game. The Spartans, who won two of three out in Portland last week, will be without Malik Hall (stress reaction in foot) and perhaps Jaden Akins, who's also dealing with a foot injury.
