Michigan State basketball commit Xavier Booker named Naismith Player of the Year finalist

In case you’ve been living under a rock this past year, let me be the first to let you know that Michigan State basketball will have one of their best ever recruiting classes coming in for the 2023 season. That class is headlined by 5-star center Xavier Booker.

On Thursday, it was announced that Booker is a finalist for the Naismith High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year award.

Last year, the award was won by Duke guard Dariq Whitehead.
