Eleven games have come and gone, but Michigan football maintains a remarkably clean bill of health.

Questions surrounding several key contributors for coach Jim Harbaugh were answered during the pregame warmups when strong safety Brad Hawkins (undisclosed), running back Blake Corum (foot/ankle) and cornerback Gemon Green (arm/shoulder) were in pads ahead of kickoff against Ohio State. All of them are likely to play in some capacity.

It means that after three months of collisions and combat across a rigorous Big Ten schedule, the Wolverines are missing just one key contributor ahead of their biggest game of the season: wide receiver Ronnie Bell, who tore his ACL in the opener.

Having Hawkins is a huge boon for defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, whose secondary will be tested by the best collection of wide receivers in the country. In addition to being one of Michigan's best run defenders as a box safety, Hawkins is a primary communicator on the back end — something that will be paramount given the number of threats Ohio State has on the perimeter.

Corum has missed the last two games after dropping out in the first quarter of U-M's win over Indiana. He did not travel to Penn State but made the trip to Maryland last weekend. And while Corum did not see the field against the Terrapins, a Michigan spokesman said he was available to play after participating in warmups.

JEFF SEIDEL: Why Michigan must keep it close vs. Ohio State, prove this year was not a mirage

SHAWN WINDSOR: Jim Harbaugh had little to say about Ohio State. He doesn't need to.

Based on pregame activity, it appears the Wolverines are reverting to their primary starters along the offensive line. Backup guard Chuck Filiaga, a former starter, moved into the first-string unit a week ago in place of left guard Trevor Keegan, who has battled a shoulder injury off and on throughout the year. Keegan rotated into the lineup at times last week and seems to have reclaimed his spot ahead of kickoff against the Buckeyes.
