Michigan football gets commitments from 3-star prospects Aaron Alexander, CJ Stokes

Michigan football landed two commitments Saturday.

After South Carolina running back CJ Stokes posted about his pledge to the Wolverines via Twitter, local linebacker prospect Aaron Alexander did the same.

Alexander, a 6-foot-1 three-star senior at Belleville, held offers from Eastern Michigan and Marshall among other.

Stokes announced the news Saturday afternoon, writing "Ann Arbor I'm coming! #GoBlue."

Listed at 5 feet 11 and 190 pounds, Stokes is ranked as the No. 9 player in the state in the class of 2022 and the No. 59 running back prospect in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
