Game notes: The Wolverines are on the verge of missing the NCAA tournament, after losing four of the past six games. They did defeat the Nittany Lions, 79-69, in Ann Arbor on Jan. 4, led by 17 points from Hunter Dickinson. Senior guard Jalen Pickett scored 26 for Penn State in the loss. He averages 17.3 points, eight rebounds and 6.9 assists per game.
