Michelle Pfeiffer has always been heralded as one of Hollywood’s natural beauties - and if the 61-year-old’s recent Instagram post is anything to go by, this is definitely still the case.

The Scarface and Dangerous Liaisons star recently took to the social media site to post a selfie completely makeup free ahead of Thanksgiving earlier this week.

She wore a shy smile for the camera, with a caption which shared her excitement to be going home to spend the holidays with family.

Many of her one million followers quickly responded with comments complimenting the actress.

One posted: "You make me look forward to ageing."

Another wrote: “Face of an angel.”

"She's been a babe my whole life. I'm 40," another posted.

The star’s beauty is so renowned she has even been mentioned in several pop songs.

Vance Joy’s 2013 track Riptide included the line: “I swear she's destined for the screen, closest thing to Michelle Pfeiffer that you've ever seen".

While Bruno Mars' and Mark Ronson mega hit Uptown Funk also referenced her beauty, with the line: "This hit, That ice cold, Michelle Pfeiffer, That white gold".

Not exactly Keats, but Pfeiffer has previously said to be "incredibly flattered" to be praised in this way.

Normally associated with cinema from the 1980s and 90s, the actress has received exposure to younger audiences through roles such as Janet Van Dyne in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame, as well as starring as Queen Ingrith in this year’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
