MIC star and husband announce they'll become parents

Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke and his husband Gareth are nine months away from becoming parents for the first time.

Having already confirmed that they were travelling across the world to start their IVF and surrogacy journey last month, the reality TV favourite provided this amazing update on Instagram yesterday (June 11).

Next to a microscope clip of a needle piercing through an egg cell, Ollie wrote to his followers: "I'm not crying, you're crying! This is the very moment our eggs were fertilised… in 9 months time, after being looked after by a very wonderful human we hope to be able to show you what he or she looks like and how much love we have to give!

"I cannot wait to meet you little one and to be your daddy with @garethplocke Xx thank you @advancedfertilitycentercancun for being so wonderful Xx."

The couple's nearest and dearest were quick to jump in with congratulatory responses, as two fans commented: "Yay congratulations!!!!" and "Oh my goodness this is wonderful love to the Locke family".

"Fantastic news. Wonderful times ahead. Congratulations darlings," added someone else, as a couple of more messages read: "This is actually so cool!!! Imagine having this amazing moment to watch over and over! Congratulations guys!!!" and "Wow what beautiful news".
