With Opening Day a bit over two months away (if the MLB lockout ends in time), the Mets will enter the 2022 season as serious contenders to win their first World Series title since 1986.

And after an offseason where New York made a bunch of bold player moves (with more likely to come), while hiring a new manager and new GM, their odds to win it all are among the best in baseball.

DraftKings has the Mets at +1000 to win the World Series, behind only the Los Angeles Dodgers (+650), Yankees (+900), and Houston Astros (+950).

Elsewhere in the NL East, the Atlanta Braves -- fresh off their World Series win -- are listed at +1500. Perhaps the uncertainty surrounding free agent Freddie Freeman has Atlanta's odds a bit low right now.

Here are the full 2022 World Series odds, via DraftKings:

Los Angeles Dodgers: +650
