Memphis Tigers guard Earl Timberlake grabbed an offensive rebound on the missed 3-pointer by Lester Quinones, and Timberlake made a short basket after grabbing the rebound. Timberlake's basket put Memphis up 47-45 vs. Georgia with 12:33 left in the second half.

Memphis Tigers wing Emoni Bates got ahead on a fast break and dunked with his right hand at 1:59 left in the first half. Bates' dunk put Memphis up 31-30 vs. Georgia.
