Evan Barnes looks at what we learned from the Tigers' win in this story, while Mark Giannotto shares his gut reactions from the win — and asks what happened to the offense — in this column.

Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Collierville residents and town officials gathered to remember the events of one year ago when Olivia King was killed and 13 others injured during a mass shooting at a Kroger, Corinne Kennedy reports in this story.

“The hardest thing about the last year is to reconcile the fact that she's gone, and the undeniable fact that she shouldn't be,” said King's son, Wes King, who called for action to prevent future tragedies like this.

You can read Dima Amro's full story here on how Collierville residents are still dealing with the effects of the shooting. Daniel Connolly also recently reported on the release of investigative documents, video and audio that offer insight into last year's shooting. You can find that story here.
