Memphis football loses commitment from juco OL Judea Milon

Memphis football lost one of its junior college commitments as three-star recruit Judea Milon decommitted Sunday with an announcement on Twitter.

Milon, who attends Tyler Junior College in Texas, committed to Memphis in December but did not sign that month during the early signing period.

Milon is the second Memphis recruit to decommit from the Tigers within the past week. Offensive lineman RJ Adams, who was at Georgia Tech last season, announced on Twitter that he’ll be enrolling at Lackwanna College, a junior college in Pennsylvania.

Adams’ decision was likely affected by new NCAA legislation passed this month that limited waivers for second-time undergraduate transfers to play immediately. Adams transferred from Kentucky to Georgia Tech in April.

Adams committed to Memphis in December but like Milon, he did not sign in the early signing period.

Memphis signed five offensive linemen during the early signing period and have two more offensive linemen transfer commitments in this class. The Tigers are expected to sign at least 13 transfer commitments on national signing day this Wednesday.
