Meghan Trainor Shares Emotional Moment She Found Out She Was Expecting Baby No. 2

The pop star and her husband, Daryl Sabara, are beyond excited to give their toddler a sibling.

Meghan Trainor announced earlier this week that she and husband Daryl Sabara are expecting their second child together, and now she's giving her fans a glimpse at the moment she learned she was pregnant.

In a heartwarming new Instagram video, the 29-year-old pop star appears right after reading her pregnancy test, which she said showed a positive result in record time.

"That sh—t lit up so fast," Trainor is heard saying while flashing the testing stick to the camera to confirm the news. Set to the tune of "Turning Page," the singer repeatedly says, "Oh my god," while trying to process all of the joy.

"The moment I found out I was pregnant with baby number 2 🥹," Trainor captioned the clip. The "Made You Look" singer is already a mom to son Riley, who turns 2 later this month.

Her husband also showed the moment he found out about the new baby, sharing a candid clip to TikTok earlier this week.

In Sabara's video, he is seen walking into the room and asking Trainor if she took a pregnancy test again. Though she's not in the frame, you can hear the songstress exclaim, "It lit up so fast, babe! Look, it's pregnant!"

Sabara then walks over to her, appearing to embrace her off-camera, while Trainor lets out a mix of sobs and laughter. "I knew it," he lets out while the pair move in front of the camera, still hugging.

"It's twins!" Trainor jokes before shouting, "Holy f—ck! We're having a baby," and kissing Sabara. "We're telling no one," she adds.

"My wife telling me she’s pregnant with baby #2," he captioned the clip. "It’s NOT twins and she told everyone 🤣🥰 @meghantrainor."

In addition to expanding their family, Trainor is also working on expanding her career with the upcoming release of her debut book titled Dear Future Mama, in which she candidly speaks about her experience with body image, mental health, pregnancy, and navigating her career path as a new mother. The book also offers insight from her OB-GYN, registered dietician, personal trainer and ever-so-loving husband.

Dear Future Mama is set to hit shelves on Apr. 25.
