Meghan Markle’s official royal tour schedule may of taken a break over the weekend, but that didn’t stop the Duchess from putting in a few surprise appearances.
Whilst Prince Harry carried out solo trips in Botswana, Angola and Malawi, Meghan, had no official engagements until this coming Tuesday. The downtime allowing the new mum to spend time with four-month-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who has joined the couple on the tour.
However, since her last official engagement on Thursday, the 38-year-old made a private visit to pay her respects to murdered Cape Town student, Uyinene Mrwetyana. Plus, joined Harry via Skype whilst he visited women and girls at the CAMA (Campaign For Female Education) in Malawi.

1. The affordable J.Crew skirt
Although Meghan had attended a private breakfast with women at the High Commission in Cape Town on Thursday, Sussex Royal waited until Sunday to share images from the event on Instagram.
“On Thursday we convened a meeting of minds - a group of women ranging from a legendary anti-apartheid activist, female parliamentarians, professors, educators and policy makers to discuss the rights of women in South Africa” wrote Meghan in the caption.
Keeping the look simple, she paired the skirt with a £66 ‘Boyfriend Tank’ by her designer friend, Micha Nonoo. She finished off the outfit with a pair of black Manolo Blahnik heels.

2. The laid-back jeans and top
On Saturday, Sussex Royal posted that Meghan had made a private visit to the site where 19-year-old Cape Town student, Uyinene Mrwetyana, had been murdered. To pay her respects Meghan tied a ribbon that said “we stand together in this moment” in the local language of Xhosa.
Meghan wore a pair of denim skinny jeans by sustainable NYC-based brand, DL1961. The Emma Power Legging Skinny Jeans cost £136.68 and are still available to buy.

3. The recycled khaki dress
On Sunday, Meghan made a surprise Skype appearance to join Prince Harry as he visited the Nalikule College of Education to learn about the CAMA network, which supports young women in Malawi.
In the video Meghan seems to be wearing the Lisa Marie Fernandez ‘Rosetta’ dress, which was first debuted at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day in July 2019. The olive green dress is still available to purchase for £545.
