The Duchess of Sussex marked the big day by announcing a new initiative to help women affected by the pandemic reenter the workforce. In the announcement video for her 40x40 initiative, Meghan wore a cozy monochromatic outfit, including a white sweater, a tank top, and lounge pants, finished with the Manolo Blahnik BB pumps in brown suede.

She accessorized the look by layering two zodiac necklaces by L.A.-based jewelry designer Logan Hollowell: a Taurus constellation necklace for Archie's star sign and a Gemini necklace for Lilibet.

The video also gave a look at what appears to be an office in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's home. It shows Meghan video-chatting at an ornate desk, which features stacks of what seem to be copies of her best-selling children's book, The Bench. The desk's accessories include a huge white crystal, a gold vase filled with white roses, and a wooden paper tray from Target(!). Looks like even royals love a good trip to Tar-jay.

The video even has a cameo from the duchess's rescue beagle, Guy, as he rests on a striped pillow by a huge fireplace. (There is also an outtake cameo at the end of the video showcasing a juggling Prince Harry.)

Meghan's 40x40 initiative encourages people to contribute 40 minutes of mentorship or community service to women who are reentering the workforce after leaving work during the pandemic, either because of job loss or to care for children or family members. The duchess has asked 40 activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to participate, including Adele, Amanda Gorman, Amanda Nguyen, Gloria Steinem, Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, and Stella McCartney.
